Dating back to the 2nd century A.D., Coptic bindings are a flexible and exciting book structure with a lot of creative potential. Complete with hard covers on the front and back, 

 In this new course for youth, ages 14-17, students learn the fundamental concepts of electronics then design and build simple custom control circuits that can be used in a range of kinetic objects, interactive projects, and fun gizmos.

 An intensive hands-on lesson, in which you transform a deceased rat into a unique and enduring art object. You will be guided through the steps of skinning, stuffing, posing, and pinning your specimen.

Make Change explores the intersections of maker culture and social change, and is the final event capping off Toronto’s month long Maker Festival – a volunteer-organized non-profit event that attracts over 12,000 people each year.

This year, the conference will be held at the Toronto Design Exchange, 234 Bay St on July 17th from 10am to 6pm.
